The European Commission adopted the Interreg Programme Slovenia-Hungary for the period 2021-2027 on 14 November 2022.
2nd Open Call for Proposals for standard projects was launched on 10 October 2025.
The Open Call for Proposals for standard projects was launched on 3 March 2023.
The Open Call for Proposals for small-scale projects was launched on 26 May 2023.

Jems is a monitoring system with communication portal to support submission, approval, management and administration of the projects and the Programme.
In the programming period 2014-2020 we have supported 24 interesting and inovative crossborder projacts in the field of natural and cultural heritage and institutional cooperation.

The PollenAct project partnership organised a workshop titled “Wild Pollinators, Colours and Matisse Collages” at OŠ I MS Primary School, where 6th-grade students explored the importance of pollinators, the role of colour in nature, and created collages inspired by Matisse’s artistic style through creative visual expression

On 17 June 2026, the travelling exhibition Light at the Border – In the Footsteps of the Martyrs János Brenner and Dániel Halász opened at the Theatre and Concert Hall in Lendava. The exhibition was created as part of the Interreg Messages project.
